Fehr out, Caps recall Andrew Gordon

Late in the third period Friday night Capitals winger, Eric Fehr, suffered an upper body injury. He injured himself when he collided with teammate David Steckel vs. the Canucks. Fehr is expected to miss 3 to 4 weeks.
Another injury means another recall from the Hershey Bears. Andrew Gordon was recalled late last night from the Bears to come play for the Caps today vs. the Ottawa Senators. Capitals’ fans will see a familiar face because Gordon has already played 8 games for the team this year all in the month of December. He had a 2 point night when he logged his first career NHL goal on December 21st against the New Jersey Devils. I happen to be there and witness the goal at the Verizon Center (it was sicccckkkkkk)!!!!
Hopefully he can spark the Caps and bring us a win tomorrow. Fehr will be deeply missed for the time being because he has been one of the few producing for the Caps as of late. Also defenseman Tyler Sloan has been assigned to the Hershey Bears for a conditioning stint. He has recorded 1 goal and 5 assists in 19 games this season for the Capitals.
