Who's Hot, Who's Not

-          Semyon Varlamov: This is Varly’s 2^nd week in a row in the hot column and it’s not surprising to anyone. In his last 6 games he has not let up more than 2 goals and his save percentage is through the roof!! The 22 year old has finally proven that he is the Caps #1 goaltender after playing 5 straight games.

-          Alexander Ovechkin: Ovi looked like his old self in the two divisional games this week. Even though he only scored in one of the game his two points were vital in the team’s victory. Not to mention his goal was siiccckkkk and very Oviesque (credit goes to Gino for that masterpiece of a word).  He also logged 14 shots in 2 games.

-          Alexander Semin: Unfortunately Semin has found his way to the “Not” category again. Now with his goalless streak at 14 games Sasha has to tickle the twine sooner or later. I have a feeling Semin will hit the stat sheet hard this week!
