Caps take on the Florida Panthers this afternoon in which I’m predicting to be a goal bonanza. Washington is coming off a 3-2 victory over the Blues Thursday. That game ended with a beautiful goal by the newly acquired Jason Arnott. Talk about making an early impact; he’s had two crucial points in the last two wins.
The Capitals will play their next two games in Florida. They will play the Panthers in Miami tonight and in Tampa tomorrow night. Both games are crucial because Tampa lost last night opening the Southeast lead to the Caps. If they win tonight and beat the Lightning tomorrow they will have control of the Southeast division. It’s about damn time CAPS!
Needless to say I am ecstatic about this new team the Caps have been playing with. When we get back Eric Fehr and Mike Green this team has scary potential for the Cup. I’m not jumping to conclusions but I like the line combinations and the new look of the Washington Capitals. Tune into tonight at 5 for the drop of the puck. Rock the Red!
